1. Our Commitment to Copyright
Interactive Media Licensing ("IML") is a content licensing company. Respecting and protecting intellectual property rights is fundamental to our business model. All content distributed through our licensing library is either owned by IML, licensed to us by our content partners under appropriate agreements, or otherwise cleared for commercial distribution.
We do not knowingly distribute, host or facilitate the unlicensed use of copyrighted material. If you believe content distributed by IML infringes your copyright, please follow the process set out in this policy.
2. Copyright in Licensed Content
Content licensed through Interactive Media Licensing remains the intellectual property of its original creator or publisher at all times. Licensing an article, audio file or video through IML grants the licensee a right to use that content in accordance with the terms of their licensing agreement - it does not transfer copyright ownership to the licensee.
Licensees may not reproduce, redistribute, sublicense, modify or repurpose licensed content beyond the scope of their written licensing agreement without obtaining prior written consent from IML and, where applicable, the original rights holder.
3. DMCA Takedown Notices
In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. Section 512, we have designated a copyright agent to receive notifications of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe that content on this website, or content distributed by IML, infringes your copyright, please submit a written notification containing the following information:
- Your full legal name, address, telephone number and email address
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located (including a URL where applicable)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
4. Where to Send a DMCA Notice
DMCA notices should be sent by email to: support@interactivemedialicensing.com
Please include "DMCA Notice" in the subject line. We aim to acknowledge receipt of valid DMCA notices within 5 business days and to act on confirmed infringement reports promptly.
5. Counter-Notifications
If you believe that content removed in response to a DMCA notice was removed in error or as a result of misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification. Counter-notifications must be submitted in writing and include the information required under 17 U.S.C. Section 512(g)(3).
6. Repeat Infringers
It is our policy to terminate the accounts and licensing agreements of users who are repeat copyright infringers, in appropriate circumstances.
7. Copyright of This Website
The design, text, graphics, logos and other content on this website that are original to Interactive Media Licensing are protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from this website content without our prior written permission.
